How is the organization there? Do you have to purchase a couple of storage bins with wheels on them that will conveniently slide in and out from below the bed? You might even need to buy bed lifts to create adequate space for these bins. Once you have made yourself a plan of the things you need to purchase to arrange your bedroom, buy the items and it is then onto step two. It looks as if every day is declutter day.
The next thing you need to do is work of making your organized space. Did you find in step one that there was a fair amount of clutter next to your bedside table? Once you have made alterations as to shelves, etc., go through you things and take away the items that you do not require in your bedroom. How many of those books or magazines are you actually reading at currently? Are there books you can place on another shelf within the home or give away? Are certain of your magazines old and ready to be tossed out? Are there garments in your cupboard that you can dispose of rather than move to a new dresser? Separate your underwear, socks, bathing suits, etc. instead of clumping them all into one drawer. Or maybe you found that the majority of your clutter was noticed in your storage under your bed. Are there things that you can store somewhere else in the home? Putting shoes in a under the bed bin is a best storage answer. You can also store seasonal be linens in an airtight bag under your bed.
